JOURNALIST WHO STAYED IN PRISON FOR A YEAR WROTE ABOUT THE TRAGEDIES IN PRISONS.

The witch hunt campaign targeting the Hizmet movement continues to victimise masses.  Turkey’s prisons witness greatest tragedies in history. The document which is proving the innocence of teacher Gökhan Açıkkollu after he had been tortured to death under police custody sparks anger in world media. Tens of thousands of women and hundreds of babies in Turkey’s prisons demonstrate the AKP regime’s persecution. Journalist Nur Ener Kılıç who was arrested without being provided with any reason and released after spending a year in prison finished her book which she started before being arrested. Her book titled “Three Branches of Daisy” is published by Yeni Asya narrating the tragedies of teachers, doctors, housewives, academics, mothers, fathers, children and new-born babies in Turkey’s prisons.
