BELGIUM SENTENCED A TURKISH MAN FOR 6 MONTHS FOR THREATENING MEMBERS OF THE HIZMET MOVEMENT

The Hasselt court in Limburg, Belgium, sentenced a 37-year-old Turkish citizen living in Tessenderlo to six months in prison and a fine of 600 Euros for threatening the members of the Vuslat Association, known for its links with the Hizmet movement. Even though the perpetrator has a similar incident before, his 6-month sentence has been postponed, as the penalty is less than 12 months. He will only pay 600 Euros with the court costs. The person threatened members of Vuslat Association openly with a picture of him carrying a gun. Following the complaint, the weapons and ammunition were also seized by the court.
